TitleSite SupervisorJob DescriptionJob OverviewThe Site Supervisor will be responsible for safely coordinating activities within the assigned program. This includes the company employees and other temporary employees engaged in the program. The Individual will inspect areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with sanitation and OSHA regulations.Roles & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.Perform duties of employees within the program assignedTrain, supervise and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and proceduresCoordinate and monitors work activities, recommends training and disciplineWritten reports, such as pass down, weekly, or monthlyPerform quality, service, and safety inspectionsTrack equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairTrack supplies and maintain inventoryMonitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment to assure safety complianceReport employee personnel and customer issues to managerCorrect at risk behavior immediately, then report to the manager immediatelyProvide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvementMaintain records, i.e., training, inspections, attendance, and metric dataFamiliar with supervisor responsibilitiesSome travel may be required for this positionQualificationTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.Education and/ or Experience: Six months to 1-year related experience and/or training; High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experienceCertificates, Licenses, Registrations: May be required to have a valid driver’s license. May be required to be Forklift CertifiedKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesBilingual in Spanish a plusKnowledge of Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing softwareGood written and verbal skills, excellent customer service skills, training abilities, and time management skillsProblem solving, presentation, and coachingAbility to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceAbility to effectively communicate to customers, contractors, or employees of organization. Use of forklifts and pallet jacks a plus.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesCarries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
