Telemedicine Physician Job Description Position: Telemedicine Physician - Primary Care Employment Type: Full Time Platform: Doctronic (www.doctronic.ai) Overview Doctronic, the world's first AI-native delivery of care service is seeking dedicated telemedicine physicians to provide high-quality virtual care through scheduled and on-demand patient encounters. This role requires physicians to conduct evaluations and treatment sessions via a secure telehealth platform, serving both cash-pay and payer-reimbursed patients. All encounters will be documented within the Doctronic platform and integrate state-of-the-art AI technology into traditional workflows. Patient Care & Diagnosis: Provide comprehensive medical care including physical exams, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Manage acute and chronic medical conditions such as hypertension, obesity, diabetes, asthma, and others. Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work, X-rays, and imaging. Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with best practices and patient needs. Preventive Care Offer preventive care services such as screenings (e.g., cancer, cholesterol, blood pressure), and wellness check-ups. Educate patients on disease prevention, nutrition, lifestyle changes, and managing health conditions. Patient Management Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records. Coordinate with specialists for referrals when necessary. Collaborate with staff to ensure continuity of care. Follow-up with patients on test results, treatments, and overall care plans. Chronic Disease Management Manage long-term treatment plans for patients with chronic illnesses, ensuring regular follow-ups and monitoring. Work closely with patients to adjust medications and treatment strategies as needed. Health Education Provide patients and families with information on health maintenance, disease management, and healthy living. Develop personalized health improvement plans for patients. Administrative Duties Complete documentation, billing, and coding as required by healthcare regulations and standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice. Attend staff meetings, training, and continuing education as required. Requirements: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited US based medical school. Active, unrestricted medical license in 51 US geographies (50 state plus DC). Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or a related field. Experience with telemedicine platforms and virtual care delivery. Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach to telehealth care. Familiarity with reimbursement models for both cash-pay and payer-reimbursed telemedicine encounters. Schedule & Commitment: 40-50 hours each week, a requirement to a rotation of days, evenings and overnights.
