Role Overview We are looking for a skilled Telemetry Systems Integration Engineer to join a firm dedicated to the engineering, sales, and support of mission-critical communication solutions and telemetry data systems. In this capacity, you will oversee the full lifecycle of complex systems—from initial planning and design to development, testing, and final deployment—guaranteeing that all hardware and software elements integrate flawlessly to satisfy technical specifications and organizational goals. Employment Status Full-Time / Regular Core Duties Evaluate business goals and user requirements to architect effective system integration strategies. Develop comprehensive integration architectures, configuration plans, and batch scripts for various hardware and software modules. Execute rigorous testing protocols to validate system functionality and proactively address any integration challenges. Partner with hardware engineers, software developers, production staff, and managers to foster team alignment. Help maintain high system performance levels by ensuring all integrations comply with regulatory requirements and industry benchmarks. Deliver essential production support, encompassing system building, integration, and troubleshooting for active product lines. Offer dedicated customer service and applications engineering, including onsite hardware repairs, troubleshooting, and RMA management. Manage systems engineering tasks such as OS image maintenance, software licensing, and the configuration of lab environments. Assist sales and marketing initiatives by preparing demonstration units and providing support for customer training and industry events. Collaborate with management on product roadmaps, compliance matrices, and the preparation of quotes and proposals. Investigate and evaluate emerging technologies to drive R&D efforts and meet evolving client demands. Ensure the team remains supported through thorough documentation, testing logs, and ongoing technical training. Essential Qualifications Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the field. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information with clarity and precision. Deep technical knowledge covering hardware, software, SQL databases, APIs, and diverse data formats. Advanced proficiency in utilizing middleware and various integration platforms. Proven capacity to troubleshoot intricate technical issues and implement robust, lasting solutions. Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment while managing multiple priorities with minimal oversight. Experience presenting products to clients to gather feedback and better understand their specific needs. Must possess the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience operating and installing telemetry data system products. Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, including wiring and installation best practices. Familiarity with foundational telemetry concepts and industry standards. Academic Background Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline; alternatively, 10+ years of equivalent professional technical experience. Work Site: Hollywood, Maryland (location negotiable). Travel Expectations: Minimal travel required. Compensation & Perks Annual salary range of $105,000 to $135,000.
