About the RoleWe are a growing, Florida-based vehicle fleet repair and maintenance company seeking experienced Automotive and Diesel Mechanics to join our team. In this mobile, field-based role, you will be dispatched directly to our clients' sites in the Miami area to keep their commercial fleets running smoothly.If you have a strong background in both automotive and diesel diagnostics—specifically with Hino and Isuzu trucks—and take pride in delivering top-tier preventative maintenance and heavy repairs, we want to hear from you.What You Will DoMobile Diagnostics & Repair: Travel to client sites within the Fort Myers area to perform on-site mechanical and electrical diagnostics.Heavy Diesel & Auto Maintenance: Execute high-quality repairs and routine preventative maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, etc.) on a variety of fleet vehicles, with a heavy focus on Hino and Isuzu box trucks.Quality Assurance: Test drive vehicles post-repair to ensure all issues are fully resolved and the vehicle is safe for commercial operation.Shop Communication: Maintain clear, effective communication with the Shop Foreman regarding job status, parts needed, and timeline estimates.Record Keeping: Log accurate and detailed repair records for all services performed.What You Need to Succeed (Requirements)Experience: 5+ years of proven professional experience in automotive repair, mechanical diagnostics, and preventative maintenance.Specialized Knowledge: Proven diesel repair experience is highly preferred (specifically with Hino and Isuzu engines).Equipment (Required): You must possess your own reliable service vehicle and your own professional-grade tools and diagnostic equipment.Licensing: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Language & Authorization: Must be fluent in English and authorized to work in the United States.References: Must be able to provide professional job references verifying your mechanical experience.What We OfferCompetitive Base Pay: Pay is based heavily on your years of experience and technical capabilities.ASE Certification Bonuses: We offer higher pay rates for mechanics who hold active ASE Certifications.Paid Time Off: Paid holidays to spend time with your family.Consistent Work: Full-time hours with a stable, growing fleet management company.Company DescriptionFast-moving fleet operation.
