The Laborer will complete general labor duties related to telecommunications construction as directed by the Foreman/Supervisor. Duties may include all phases of underground construction including but are not limited to: loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment.Connecting You To Great BenefitsWeekly PaychecksPaid Time Off, Parental Leave, and HolidaysInsurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance)401(k) w/ Company MatchStock Purchase PlanEducation ReimbursementLegal InsuranceDiscounts on gym memberships, pet insurance, and much more!What You’ll DoPerform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipmentInstall and maintenance of underground telecommunications cabling Operate heavy construction equipment and machinery, and maintain work areasYou will work in congested or remote areasYou will maintain visual and audible contact with other crewman and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movementYou will perform general construction work under direction of Foreman/SupervisorComplete daily production reportsHelp with site restoration effortsPerform work in all weather conditionsOther duties as assignedWhat You’ll NeedTo be 18 years of age or olderAuthorization to work in the United States for this companyMust be able to pass a background check and company drug screeningHigh School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experienceClass A Commercial Driver's License requiredAdditional QualificationsYou have basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe mannerYou have basic knowledge of and ability to use hand tools and equipment in a safe mannerYou may have experience in the utility construction industryYou may have the ability to read prints and interpret utility maps to identify the type and size of underground utilitiesYou are able to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.You are able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistanceYou are able to work over-time; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies or on-callYou are able to maintain a safe work environmentYou are able to work in all weather conditionsPhysical & Safety Requirements And The Working Environment(The physical duties outlined are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
