Job Title: Revenue Cycle Manager Location: Chicago, IL Type: Full-Time and Permanent Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM Pay Range: $85K Benefits: For eligible employees, we offer Health, Dental, and Vision insurances, in addition to a 401(k). Position Overview: Connect Search LLC has partnered with a major healthcare organization to fill a Revenue Cycle Manager opening. This role will function as the subject matter expert (SME) for hospital billing processes within Epic and will support operational efficiency, compliance, and revenue optimization. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for hospital billing workflows within the Epic system Actively work claim queues including claim edits, denials, and billing exceptions Review and resolve complex billing issues to ensure timely claim submission and reimbursement Monitor billing performance metrics including claim accuracy, denials, and aging Ensure compliance with payer regulations, hospital billing standards, and government requirements Identify opportunities to improve billing workflows and revenue cycle efficiency Collaborate with revenue cycle leadership, coding, and patient financial services teams to resolve issues impacting reimbursement Provide training, guidance, and support to billing staff Eventually manage and oversee a team of 2–3 billing specialists including performance oversight and workflow management Required Qualifications: 5+ years of hospital billing experience within a healthcare system or hospital environment Strong experience working hospital claim queues and resolving billing edits and denials Epic experience required (hospital billing / revenue cycle modules-Resolute Module) Demonstrated knowledge of payer billing rules, claims processing, and reimbursement practices Experience handling complex billing issues and escalations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to operate both independently and in a leadership capacity Bachelor Degree strong preferred but will consider candidates with no less than 10 years of experience in lieu #alljobs
