Develops and maintains Power BI dashboards and reports utilizing Azure Analysis Services (AAS) Creates and optimizes DAX calculations and tabular models to enhance Power BI performance and usability Designs and manages ETL pipelines with Azure Data Factory (ADF) to ingest and transform data from multiple sources Develops and supports on-premises SSRS reports to meet operational reporting requirements Writes and optimizes complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and performance tuning across Azure SQL and on-premises SQL Server Utilizes SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and Azure Analysis Services to build and optimize tabular models Implements Row-Level Security (RLS) and enforces data governance practices in Power BI and AAS Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver scalable, actionable dashboards Monitors, troubleshoots, and optimizes Power BI, AAS, and SSRS for performance and scalability Completes assigned tasks in a safe, accurate, thorough, and alert manner Upholds Company policies and procedures Works in a professional manner with managers, supervisors, coworkers, customers, and the public Other related job duties as assigned Strong DAX skills for creating complex measures and calculated columns Proficiency in SQL, including query optimization, stored procedures, and indexing strategies Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics and Data Lakes Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling best practices Understanding of data modeling principles: star schema, fact and dimension tables Familiarity with Python or R for advanced data analytics Exposure to DevOps practices for Power BI and SQL deployments Ability to proactively identify and implement process improvements and new Power BI features Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Able to prioritize duties and manage multiple projects from start to finish with minimal supervision Ability to coordinate, contribute to, and work within a cross-functional team Must possess the ability to take initiative to complete assignments and job responsibilities with minimal supervision Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
