Medical Assistant Certified

Job Description Cardiac Rhythm Specialists, PA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide highest quality care to our patients.Expectations include, but not limited to:· Scheduling and preparing patients for the encounter like rooming, obtaining vitals, weight and health histories, verifying insurance, obtaining prior authorizations, working with an EHR, chart preparation, performing EKG· Monitoring lab values and other diagnostic test results as well as remote cardiac device transmissions and entering in computer, scanning and uploading documents into EHR, patient check in and check out procedures, scheduling appointments, scheduling outpatient tests and procedures, creating lab orders, electronic prescribing, answering phones, patient education, completing physician tasks or orders and inventory management.Qualifications:· Possession of active and unrevoked medical assistant certification· One year of work experience in a patient care setting· Proficiency in Spanish and English languages is preferredCandidate must be reliable, show a high level of professionalism, excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to problem solve and multi-task, knowledge of medical terminology and medications, good computer and organizational skills, pays close attention to detail and has the ability to work as a team.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
