Job Summary:The primary function is to package, box and skid packing material for shipping, according to the specifications on the order.Job Duties:Maintains a clean and orderly work area/warehouseMaintains a safe working environment by following all company safety policies and procedures and reports unsafe conditions and incidents, while maintaining quality standards Identifies poor quality material and notifies the supervisor and/or Quality ControlResponsible for recording orders and maintaining the ending inventoryCounts, weighs, measures, or examines packaging and contents of items for conformance to company specificationsCompletes necessary paperwork, packing slips, pallet listsMoves material to designated areas with forkliftOther duties as assignedJob Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED), one to three years of experience preferredForklift certification requiredAbility to work at a fast paceAbility to multi task and read production ticketsAbility to perform math calculations including fractions Must be able to read tape measure, including micrometerMust be computer literateAbility to maintain production standardsMust be dedicated to continuous improvementMust be able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stretch, or stand for extended periods of time
