Learn how you can start or jumpstart your career with us.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, lead, and execute R&D projects from early-stage research through development and scale-upDefine project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with technical and business stakeholdersDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plansCoordinate cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and MarketingManage technical risks, development uncertainties, and changing priorities inherent in R&D workFacilitate design reviews, phase-gate reviews, and technical decision-making forumsTrack project progress, milestones, and KPIs; proactively address issues and dependenciesManage changes in scope, timelines, or requirements through formal change control processesEnsure compliance with internal R&D governance, safety, quality, and regulatory standardsCommunicate project status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholdersCapture lessons learned and support continuous improvement in R&D project executionRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related technical field1+ years of project management experience in an R&D, product development, or technical environmentExperience managing projects with technical uncertainty and evolving requirementsStrong working knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid)Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiencesProficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence)Preferred QualificationsMaster’s in a technical disciplinePMP, CAPM, or Agile certificationExperience with stage-gate product development processesExperience working in regulated industries (e.g., pharmaceuticals, chemicals, medical devices, automotive)Familiarity with data-driven development, experimentation, or design-of-experiments (DOE)Key CompetenciesCross-functional leadership without direct authorityTechnical curiosity and systems thinkingRisk and dependency management in uncertain environmentsStakeholder alignment and influenceStrategic planning and execution disciplineJoin our Talent Community to stay connected with us!Qnity is an equal opportunity employer.
