A self-starter with a can-do attitude and strong teamwork skills will thrive in this role. Job Description: We are seeking an individual who prioritizes superior customer service above all else. Your role will involve cleaning residential homes, businesses, or office locations while maintaining a clean and orderly environment. You will also be expected to anticipate customer needs, provide personalized and detailed service, and build lasting relationships with our customers. Responsibilities: Clean residential homes, businesses, or office locations in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Perform thorough cleaning tasks based on each client's specific needs, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Vacuum or mop floors to remove dirt, dust, and debris, leaving them spotless. Clean and sanitize toilets, ensuring they are free of stains and odors for a fresh and inviting environment. Dust surfaces, including furniture, shelves, and decorative items, to maintain a tidy appearance throughout the house. Move reasonably small furniture as necessary to facilitate cleaning. Scrub surfaces to remove stains or build-up, utilizing appropriate cleaning techniques. Empty trash cans and dispose of waste in a sanitary manner, keeping the premises clean and odor-free. Clean upholstered furniture, removing stains and maintaining their overall cleanliness to enhance the comfort of our clients. Wash, fold, and organize laundry as requested by clients, ensuring their garments are handled with care. Change out linens. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition and properly stored for efficient operations. Qualifications: Hardworking, reliable, and trustworthy individual with a strong work ethic. A history of limited to no-call outs and being on time. Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a process-oriented mindset. Self-starter with a can-do attitude who works well as part of a team. Ability to lead a team and supervise their work effectively. Flexible work schedule, typically 8 to 5, but may vary on a daily basis. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues in English. Bilingual proficiency (English & Spanish) is preferred. Proficiency in using electronic technology such as smartphones, tablets, and computers. Possession of a clean driving record and a valid Driver's License. Legally authorized to work in the United States (verification will be conducted). Skills/Requirements: Familiarity with various cleaning techniques and products to handle different surfaces and materials effectively. Previous experience in professional cleaning services is strongly preferred, showcasing your expertise and knowledge. Must have reliable transportation to travel between client locations and arrive punctually. Demonstrates a dependable personality and flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client needs. Physical abilities: Frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl Strong attention to detail, ensuring that all areas are thoroughly cleaned and no detail is overlooked, aligning with Vanderbilt Maids' commitment to excellence. Excellent organizational skills to efficiently manage cleaning tasks and maintain a structured workflow, optimizing time management.
