Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Gastroenterology (Hiring Immediately)

TheCVPH Gastroenterology team is seeking a passionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide highquality care to adult patients inPlattsburgh, New York . About the Role This position offers a balanced mix ofoutpatient clinic care andinpatient consult/rounding . Working closely with Gastroenterologists and fellow APPs, the APP provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of adult GI patients. 32 clinical hours + 8 administrative hours per week Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. No weekends Adult patient population only What You'll Do Manage an outpatient panel of GI patients Perform inpatient rounding and consultations with physician support Evaluate, diagnose, and treat GI conditions; order and interpret tests Coordinate discharges, followup plans, and patient education Collaborate with physicians, APP colleagues, nursing, and support teams What We're Looking For Required Licensed NP or PA inNew York State (or eligibility to obtain) Eligible for DEA registration in NY Ability to obtain CVPH privileges Strong communication skills and patientcentered approach Ability to work independently and collaboratively Preferred Gastroenterology or acute care experience Why Plattsburgh?
