Licensed Vocational Nurse

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring a positive experience for our patients and their families. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatrics and PICU, and be familiar with medical imaging procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team and contribute to the well-being of our patients. **Duties:** - Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical imaging procedures, and maintaining medical records. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Utilize knowledge of infection control practices to prevent and manage infections. - Provide dementia care, including engaging with patients and addressing their emotional needs. - Assist with hospice care, including providing emotional support to patients and their families. - Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures. - Ensure patient safety and comfort, reporting any concerns to the healthcare team. - Stay up-to-date with the latest medical systems and technology. - Participate in training programs and continuing education to maintain licensure and expand knowledge of the field. **Experience:** - Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the position is located. - Experience in pediatrics and PICU, including knowledge of pediatric medical imaging procedures. - Experience in hospice care and dementia care. - Familiarity with medical records and ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records. - Knowledge of infection control practices and ability to maintain a clean and organized environment. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to ensure patient care is delivered in a timely and efficient manner. - Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
