Licensed Vocational Nurse

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team and contribute to the well-being of our patients. **Duties:** - Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical imaging procedures, and maintaining medical records. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Utilize knowledge of infection control practices to prevent and manage infections. - Provide dementia care, including engaging with patients and addressing their emotional needs. - Assist with hospice care, including providing emotional support to patients and their families. - Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures. - Ensure patient safety and comfort, reporting any concerns to the healthcare team. - Stay up-to-date with the latest medical systems and technology. - Participate in training programs and continuing education to maintain licensure and expand knowledge of the field. **Experience:** - Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the position is located. - Experience in pediatrics and PICU, including knowledge of pediatric medical imaging procedures. - Experience in hospice care and dementia care. - Familiarity with medical records and ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records. - Knowledge of infection control practices and ability to maintain a clean and organized environment. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to ensure patient care is delivered in a timely and efficient manner. - Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
