Qualify Inspector - Precision Machinery

Leading aerospace and aviation company seeking a Precision Quality Inspector for Westford location, near Boston. This role performs in-process and final inspections on precision-machined parts to tight tolerances, interpret blueprints, and document nonconformances to ensure compliance with quality standards. This is a Direct Hire position with pay rate range of $25-$35/hr DOE. The hours are M-F 7AM-3:30PM.Responsibilities:Perform in-process and final inspections on precision-machined components to tolerances as tight as ±0.0002"Interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and GD&T to verify dimensional accuracyUse advanced measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure complianceIdentify and document nonconformances, initiate NCRs, and support root cause investigationsPartner with production and engineering teams to maintain high quality standards and continuous improvementSupport quality documentation and inspection records for customer and aerospace requirementsRequirements: 2–5+ years of quality inspection experience in precision machiningExperience working with tight tolerances (down to .0005" or tighter) requiredStrong blueprint reading skills (GD&T preferred)Previous experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc)Benefits:Competitive compensationPTO & Paid HolidaysComprehensive health insurance coverage401(k) retirement plan with company matchAnnual bonus
