Financial Analyst**Future Opportunity**CSEngineering is seeking Financial Analyst to join our growing team! This role will provide expert financial analysis, quality assurance, and benchmarking support for federal real property leasing, acquisition projects, and facilities management operations. The ideal candidate will bring 7-10 years of experience in lease financial analysis, federal regulations, and government contracting to deliver actionable insights, trend summaries, and decision-support deliverables for leadership.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESThe Financial Analyst will produce technical analyses to inform leadership decision-making by identifying patterns, trends, relationships, and cross-cutting insights across real property leasing (focus on medical/medical-related space), acquisition support, healthcare mission requirements, initial planning, execution, and operational processes.Apply commercial real estate principles to government transactions, including benchmarking data analysis for independent cost estimates on environmental, historic, and real estate due diligence.Conduct financial analyses of development costs, financing costs/terms, amortization schedules, Net Present Value (NPV) calculations, and OMB lease scoring requirements.Analyze schedule/cost data across projects, providing recommendations on deficiencies, cost increases, delays, mitigation measures, and programmatic impacts.Assess applicability of federal laws/regulations (e.g., National Environmental Policy Act), draft policy/procedures/compliance checklists, and support standard operating procedures.Engage stakeholders via in-person or online meetings (e.g., Microsoft Teams), compile/summarize key decisions, and reconcile data from broker reports to tracking systems.Perform lease scoring run summaries, comparisons of unserviced/prospectus rents, lump sum amortization impacts, and programmatic best practices/lessons learned.Provide commercial real property analysis, identifying macro/lease/project-level trends, drawing conclusions, and creating tailored data visualizations/performance models.Analyze historical/current real estate market trends for proactive lease procurement planning using quantitative, qualitative, mixed analyses, statistical methods, and forecasting.Support technical evaluation teams with analytical/developmental services, attend status meetings, and deliver customized summaries applying federal processes and commercial principles.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSSecurity Clearance: Public TrustBachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related fieldMinimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in financial analysis, data validation, quality assurance, with emphasis on federal government or government contracting environmentsExpertise in federal real property law/regulations (e.g., Title 40 U.S.C., OMB Circular A-11 lease scoring), VA/GSA processes/milestones, and private sector real estate best practicesExperience in lease financial analysis, NPV calculations, OMB scoring, benchmarking, cost analysis, independent financial reviews, and trend summarizationKnowledge of federal real property leasing/acquisition processes, FAR, and GSA Leasing Desk GuideProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and approved document repositoriesStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with ability to prepare executive-level memoranda, charts, and reportsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSCertified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)Understanding of Title 38 U.S.C. § 8103 and Title 40 federal property authoritiesExperience drafting policy, procedures, compliance checklists, and data visualizations for federal financial reportingLocation: Washington, DC - Onsite COMPANY OVERVIEWWho we are- CSEngineering, a Service-Disabled Veteran-owned small business established in 2002, is dedicated to becoming the premier engineering and services firm in our industry, all while prioritizing client satisfaction above all else.What we do- With a rich history of excellence, we boast significant expertise in a wide array of areas, including satellite systems, weapons and missile systems, naval architecture, aviation systems, IT and Enterprise Architecture, and more.
