R&D ManagerOverviewWe’re seeking an experienced R&D Manager to lead product development and commercialization initiatives, taking new products from concept through full-scale production.This is a high-impact role within a fast-growing environment, requiring strong cross-functional leadership and the ability to execute with speed and precision. A strong background in food science is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Development & CommercializationLead end-to-end commercialization from concept through launchOversee product trials, scale-up, and production readinessEnsure products are manufacturable, scalable, and cost-effectiveCross-Functional LeadershipPartner across R&D, operations, quality, and commercial teamsAlign product specifications, cost targets, and timelinesServe as the primary technical point of contact internallyProcess Optimization & Technical SupportAnalyze production data and troubleshoot product/process issuesImprove formulations, yields, and operational efficiencyDrive continuous improvement initiativesQuality & ComplianceEnsure adherence to food safety, regulatory, and quality standardsPartner with QA on validation and product specificationsProject ManagementManage multiple product launches and timelines simultaneouslyDevelop project plans, risk assessments, and documentationSupport costing and feasibility analysisQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Food Science (strongly preferred), Engineering, Chemistry, or related field3–5+ years of R&D experience within food manufacturing3–5+ years of leadership or project leadership experienceStrong expertise in formulation, scale-up, and commercializationExperience working cross-functionally in a manufacturing environmentIdeal CandidateTechnical R&D leader with strong commercialization experienceHands-on and comfortable supporting trials and productionThrives in fast-paced, high-growth environmentsGritty, solutions-oriented, and takes strong ownership
