CT Tech Location: Austell, GA Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: 5/4/2026 About the Position Become a vital part of a hospital team in Austell, GA as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will verify orders, obtain clinical history, prepare and position patients, administer contrast per protocol, operate CT equipment, and produce diagnostic images consistent with department and regulatory standards. You will communicate effectively with patients, families and clinical staff, assist in emergency situations, maintain equipment and documentation, and participate in quality control activities. Minimum Requirements: Required Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) required upon hire. BLS: Basic Life Support certification required (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or equivalent) upon hire. Education: Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (JRCERT or equivalent). Experience: Minimum 1 year radiography experience required. CT experience less than 1 year preferred. Candidate must demonstrate competency in CT, patient positioning, exposure techniques, and safe radiation practices. Technical Skills: Proficiency with CT console operation, PACS/RIS workflow, power injector use, venipuncture competency, and routine equipment maintenance and infection control procedures. Clinical Skills: Ability to assess contraindications, perform pre- and post-procedural care, follow Timeout procedures, and respond to clinical emergencies. Demonstrated patient-care and communication skills required. Other: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and function effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment. Must be willing to take call when required. Preferred: Experience in hospital imaging departments and familiarity with teleradiography processes preferred.
