Permit CoordinatorWe are seeking an experienced Permit Coordinator to manage all permitting activities in-house for our residential construction projects throughout Miami-Dade County. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the permitting process from project inception through permit issuance and closeout, ensuring projects move efficiently through municipal review and approval processes.The ideal candidate has extensive experience working directly with municipalities throughout Miami-Dade County, understands local permitting requirements, and can effectively coordinate between city officials, architects, engineers, consultants, and internal project teams.ResponsibilitiesManage all permit applications from initial submission through project completion.Prepare, submit, track, and obtain permits for residential construction projects across multiple municipalities within Miami-Dade County.Monitor permit status and proactively follow up with municipal departments to maintain project timelines.Review plan review comments and coordinate responses with architects, engineers, structural consultants, MEP engineers, surveyors, and project managers.Ensure all permit revisions, resubmittals, and supplemental applications are completed accurately and on time.Maintain detailed permitting logs, tracking systems, and status reports for active projects.Develop and maintain relationships with municipal building departments and personnel.Coordinate inspections and permit-related requirements throughout the construction process.Work closely with project management and construction teams to identify permitting risks and prevent delays.QualificationsMinimum 3 years of direct permitting experience within residential construction.Demonstrated experience working with multiple municipalities and building departments.Strong understanding of construction permitting processes, zoning reviews, building department procedures, and plan review workflows.Experience coordinating responses to plan review comments and permit corrections.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, permit applications, and municipal requirements - a plus.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Strong communication skills and ability to work with municipal officials, consultants, and internal teams.Proficiency with municipal online permitting platforms and permitting software.Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.Must have reliable transportation and be in-office full time in Brickell.CompensationCompensation will be based on experience - we also offer a great benefits and PTO package.
