DIRECTOR of RESIDENTIAL SERVICES

This is a full time, 40 hours per week, salaried position. Flexibility in your schedule is needed for this position based on the needs of the programs. Emergency situations may require nights and weekends. Life's WORC offers a great benefits package, including:Very affordable medical, dental & vision insurance for you and your familyCompany Matching 403(b) programGenerous Paid Time Off policyTuition and textbook reimbursementRegular incremental bonusesQualificationsBA degree in Human Services or related field required.Two years experience in residential management with an additional two years in ID/DD program services.Excellent communication skillsValid driver’s license requiredResponsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToTrain, coach, mentor & supervise management teamAssume QIDP (Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional) responsibilities in the absence of a QIDPActively participate on agency committees and projectsEnsure all program services are consistent with regulatory standardsCoordinate services in the areas of clinical, personnel and programmingDrive agency vans and demonstrate safe driving practices; participate in agency driver safety courseAct as an advocate for the individuals and ensure for protective oversightAssist in the preparation and implementation of residential budgets, including monitoring of budgets and residential accountsParticipate in the intake process of individuals being referred for placementOversee electronic systems to enhance the department’s efficiencies and ability to measure outcomesHave 24/7 on call accessibilityRequired to become a certified trained investigator to assist in completing investigations as assigned by the Quality Assurance Department. This is a condition of employment.Required to become either a certified trainer in CPR/1st Aide or Strategies for Crisis Intervention & Prevention and teach 2 classes a year to assist the Training Department and assist with training clusters as needed/requested.
