Role Requirements for a Sales Trainee Generate new business sales leads by prospecting small to mid-sized businesses through direct outreach, cold calling, and strategic networking. Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary AT&T business advisor and account manager. Conduct comprehensive business needs assessments to identify communication, mobility, and technology gaps. Present customized AT&T business solutions, including wireless, internet, cloud, and unified communications—to meet client objectives. Manage the complete business sales cycle: lead generation, proposal development, contract negotiation, and deal closure. Consistently exceed sales quotas and KPIs in a fast-paced, performance-driven telecom sales environment. Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activity, client interactions, and pipeline progress to support transparency and forecasting.
