Senior Software Developer with Security Clearance

Overview VTG is seeking a Software Developer for a 200+ FTE technical development program supporting the Sponsor's Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. The Software Developer will work with a large team of developers, software engineers and data engineers. The successful candidate will support continuity of our customer's mission by helping to modernize and implement industry standards while ensuring secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of IT systems. What will you do?List daily duties and/or specific job responsibilities.Collaborate with internal and external teams for integrations and tasking deliveryComfort and familiarity in maintaining legacy applicationsExperience in modernization of legacy applicationsAbility to write custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instancesExperience leveraging Amazon Web ServicesExperience creating RESTful APIExperience with spring bootDevelop Java and Angular (Typescript)Comfort and familiarity designing and utilizing custom ETL methodologyStrong communication, design, and documentation skillsStrong workflow and time management skillsComfort and familiarity in unit testing, peer code review, and automated testing techniques like Selenium (create, edit, maintain, execute)Work within the parameters of Agile & Scrum methodologiesAbility to methodically think through technical challenges in a collaborative team environment in order to provide technically sound solutions Do you have what it takes?Active TS/SCI with PolygraphBS degree and 4-10 years of prior relevant experienceMust have experience in multiple programming languages (Java, spring boot, Angular (Typescript), and the Cloud / Amazon Web Services)Full Stack DevelopmentExperience developing solutions to satisfy customer requirements and specificationsKnowledge of Git, Jenkins, selenium, and RundeckExperience working in Command Line (RH Linux)
