If so, Concurrent RealTime wants to meet you.We're looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of real-time operating systems, tools, and applications used across aerospace, defense, automotive, robotics, and industrial sectors.What You'll DoDesign, develop, test, and optimize software for high-performance, real-time environmentsWrite efficient, reliable, and maintainable code in C/C++, along with scripting languages like Python or BashWork closely with hardware, systems, and application engineering teams to integrate software with complex real-time platformsDebug complex issues involving multithreading, scheduling, performance bottlenecks, and low-level system interactionsContribute to continuous improvement through code reviews, testing, and documentationSupport customer-facing teams on technical questions, integration challenges, and performance tuningParticipate in the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and design to testing and releaseWhat You BringBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fieldStrong programming skills in C/C++Experience with Linux, including kernel concepts, real-time environments, or performance optimizationUnderstanding of multithreading, concurrency, scheduling, and system-level softwareExperience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similarExcellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skillsStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional engineering environmentNice to Have:Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)Familiarity with embedded systems or hardware interfacesPerformance benchmarking and low-latency software experienceExposure to simulation, HIL testing, networking, or distributed systemsWho You'll Work WithYou'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across software engineering, hardware engineering, QA, and customer support — all working to deliver mission-critical real-time technology to some of the world's most demanding industries.Why Join Us?You'll have the opportunity to shape high-performance computing technologies used in aerospace, defense, autonomous systems, automotive simulation, robotics, and industrial automation.
