BIM Coordinator-Architecture

Role – BIM Coordinator-Architecture Location: Canton, MI Experience- 3+ years Job Responsibilities: Manage the exchange, collaboration, and coordination of BIM data with consultants, contractors, other stakeholders, and the internal team. Lead in BIM implementation, Standards, Modelling workflow & methodologies during project design, construction, and handover. Conduct clash detection between electrical/mechanical systems and building components and resolve issues using tools like Navisworks or similar software. Actively promote advanced and innovative BIM-based methodologies towards integrated practice, Prepare, execute, and maintain BIM strategies and plans. Support and provide a review of BIM Project Models, workflows, and methodologies to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables. Must be aware of Local US and Canadian codes & standards such as NFPA, Ontario / BC Building Code, ASHRAE etc. Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with an A1 contractor in North America. Job Requirements: Minimum a Diploma or Degree in Architecture / Engineering with at least 3 years of working experience in construction, design, drafting, or coordination, as per local codes and standards. With at least 3 years of BIM coordination/management experience in the relevant industry for large scale projects Self-motivated, able to assume responsibility, and able to handle pressure.
