Firmware Validation Engineer

Position: Firmware Validation Engineer Job Description: Principal Accountabilities Design and development of real time embedded software/firmware and PC/mobile based software application. Analyze domain specific technical or low level requirement and modification as per end customer or system requirement & participate in software design Perform software testing including unit, functional and system level requirement including manual and automated Document technical deliverable like software specifications, design document, code commenting, test cases and test report, Release note etc. throughout the project life cycle. Develop software solutions from established programming languages or by learning new language required for specific project. Develop new approaches to complex design problems Job Complexity Requires in-depth knowledge and experience Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions Works independently; receives minimal guidance Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience Represents the level at which career may stabilize for many years or even until retirement Contributes to process improvements Typically resolves problems using existing solutions Provides informal guidance to junior staff Works with minimal guidance Experience / Education Typically requires 5-7 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience."
