Director of Nursing

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in compliance with regulations and company standards. Responsibilities - Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures - Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to clinical standards - Manage nursing schedules and assignments - Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care - Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations - Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team - Oversee shift management and ensure adequate staffing levels - Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and quality of care - Experience in home health or home care settings is a plus Skills - Proficiency in medical terminology and record-keeping systems - Strong leadership and supervisory skills - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements - Experience working as a nurse or in a healthcare setting - Ability to manage shifts effectively and prioritize tasks - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing Prior Behavioral Health/Psychiatric Health experience. Prior Behavioral Health/Psychiatric Health experience.
