Audio Visual Operations Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Level 2 Audio Visual OPERATIONS SUPPORT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of audio and visual equipment for various events and presentations. Expected to be able to troubleshoot equipment as well. Direct CISCO experience is required.
Duties:
- Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly before events
- Provide technical support during events as needed
- Assist with cabling and wiring as required
- Troubleshoot video conferencing systems and cloud bridging/web conferencing services
- Setup, operate, support, break down and transport AV equipment, including projectors, microphone systems, mixers, switchers, and camera controllers
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of audio visual equipment
Qualifications:
- Mechanical knowledge to handle equipment setup and breakdown
- Understanding of low voltage systems for audio visual setups
- Proficiency in software troubleshooting for AV systems
- Ability to telecommunicate effectively with team members and clients
- Experience in field service for on-site support
- Familiarity with cabling standards and practices
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware components
- Extensive knowledge of Teams, Zoom, WebEx, GoToMeeting, etc
