Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities Conduct thorough quality inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems. Utilize advanced measurement tools including coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensional accuracy and compliance with specifications. Collect and analyze data related to product quality, process deviations, and inspection results to support continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure manufacturing processes adhere to regulatory requirements and other safety standards by monitoring compliance during production. Document inspection findings meticulously, prepare detailed reports, and communicate issues promptly to production teams for corrective actions. Support calibration of measurement instruments like calipers, micrometers, and vision systems to maintain measurement accuracy. Qualifications Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of quality systems including ISO 9001. Familiarity with calibration procedures for precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems. Proficiency in using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other advanced inspection tools. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and identify root causes of quality issues. Experience conducting internal or external quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards. Strong attention to detail combined with effective communication skills to document findings clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
