CAGE CASHIER
Job DescriptionA Cage Cashier is responsible for the redemption and sale of table game chips, marketing redemptions, ticket in-ticket out redemptions, and other cash transactions.Responsibilities Understand and adhere to Grand Victoria Casino and Cage & Credit Operations standards, policies and procedures. Obtain a strong understanding of the Internal Control Systems (ICS) and Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS). Ability to comply with and practice the Grand Victoria Casino’s Family Style Service Standards. Acquire and maintain strong knowledge of the Federal Cash Reporting Requirements required under Title 31. Transact exchanges. Process Table Fills and Table Credits to Table Games. Process Jackpots and Hopper Fills to Electronic Gaming Devices. Verify Cash turn-ins from operating departments. Verify various types of Cash pay-outs. Verify cashier’s banks. Prepare daily bank deposits on revenue, as needed. Perform all tasks that may be assigned in the future. Qualifications Must be minimally 21 years old. Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license. Ability to read, write and speak in English. Working knowledge of computers, i.e. data entry; intermediate math. Maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers, management and other departments. Always display a high level of confidentiality and integrity. capacity to work well with others and handle stressful situations with ease. Possess effective listening skills. Ability to work in a stressful, high volume, energetic atmosphere. Ability to work flexible shifts.
