Ticket Window Agent

New Orleans Steamboat Company/Gray Line Tours is hiring customer service oriented individuals to work in our Ticket Office. This is an entry level position, however customer service, sales experience, phone and computer skills are preferred. The ideal applicant is friendly and courteous with an outgoing personality, has excellent communication skills, an attention to detail, the ability to remain calm under pressure, a willingness to learn, and is very reliable/dependable. Priority will be given to those candidates able to work flexible hours, as some of our shifts start as early as 8:00am and finish as late as 7:00pm. Weekend/evening/holiday work is also required. Responsibilities Delivering exceptional in-person customer service Process reservations/sell tours Assist guests with booking tours Credit card and cash handling Answering a variety of questions from guests with diverse backgrounds Balancing cash drawer and closing out daily paperwork Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent education level Computer skills Friendly, courteous, outgoing personality Excellent communication skills Attention to detail/organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must be reliable and dependable If you feel that you are the next New Orleans Steamboat Company/Gray Line team member, please send a copy of your resume explaining why you are the person for us!
