QUALITY INSPECTORS - CONTRACT TO HIRE

Quality InspectorsHQ Aero is currently recruiting Quality Inspectors in Tucson, AZ. Responsibilities include conducting weighing procedures, performing incoming inspections, coordinating inspection activities, inspecting aircraft parts, ensuring documentation accuracy, researching aircraft drawings, performing walk around inspections, ensuring aircraft airworthiness, providing customer data, training technicians, assisting with research, conducting internal procedural audits, and performing research functions.Qualifications, Experience & Requirements include a minimum of 2 years' experience performing aircraft inspections, an FAA-issued Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license, knowledge of special tooling and machinery, knowledge of aircraft part fabrication process, ability to calculate tolerances, ability to read and interpret engineering documents, ability to use precision measurement instruments, passing hearing and vision tests, high school diploma or GED, passing criminal background and FAA drug and alcohol screening checks, and proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.Job Type is full-time, with a contract to direct after 6 months. Schedule includes 12-hour shifts on a 3/4/4/3 schedule, including days, nights, and weekends. Travel Pay is $150 (if applicable).Essential Job Functions include measuring using precision devices, using basic hand tools, interpreting inspection/test equipment, working as part of a team, being a self-starter, being computer proficient, lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent walking, standing, and climbing, and working in confined spaces in a FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance environment.
