Supply Chain Franchise Coordinator

JOB OVERVIEW:The Supply Chain Franchise Coordinator works with the Director to develop and implement strategies to effectively support our franchise operations, both domestic and international. This includes supporting new market launches, support for existing markets with ever changing requirements, and executing of brand programs to ensure franchise restaurants maintain brand image.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinate with the product supply and COE team to understand Menu changes, LTOs, and promotionsCommunicate Upcoming openings to our Supply Chain team, DC, and ExportersProvide product specs and information to franchise partners and ExportersCommunicate Brand menu updates and LTOs to Supply Chain, Marketing, and Culinary teamsDevelop SharePoint files to enable franchise partners to adhere to supply chain processes and proceduresCrafting quarterly Supply Chain newsletter for franchise partners with updates to current Supply Chain trendsDevelop food pricing files for NROsFollow up on Product shorts with the respective teamsManage tools such as NRO project template, Sharepoint, SmartsheetSupport product registration process to include obtaining information from suppliers and supporting requests from exportersManage external reports and partner with IT to ensure accurate reporting lists and updated recipientsUpdating the NRO supply chain tasks report and ensuring all tasks are completedComplete new franchise partner set up process for Foodservice and SmallwaresDevelop product Catalogs for upcoming openingsCoordinate with the product supply team to understand any product shorts and their impact on franchise partnersManage shelf-life extensions to minimize financial exposure on behalf of franchise partners and distribution teamsResearch vendor invoicing to assure proper paymentsFirst escalation point of service issue prior to escalating to Manager or DirectorPerform special project work as requestedMaintains electronic and paper-based file systemsActively participates with product development efforts, such as requesting and tracking samples, on-going verification of product quality, etc.Fields inquiries related to category, such as product complaints, pricing, shortages, outages, specifications, as well as for technical-related aspectsREQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:Minimum of five years or relevant experienceExperience with purchasing one or more categories of products or servicesGeneral understanding of industry-related marketsExperience with purchasing/buying negotiation tacticsUnderstanding of business/business acumenKnowledge and familiarity with the use of software/information systemsREQUIRED EDUCATION:* Bachelor of Science degree preferred but not requiredOTHER KEY QUALIFICATIONS:Strong analytical skills.Unique combination of results orientation with ability to build strong interpersonal relations.Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills.Proven ability to lead meetings and teams effectively.
