Must have, or be eligible to receive a Colorado teaching license with a secondary science endorsement, or must have a Colorado teaching license with a minimum of 24 credit hours in the content area. Must love working with pre-adolescents. Thorough knowledge of Colorado Academic Standards and ability to differentiate for students of all abilities required. Sense of humor and flexibility are requirements to fully appreciate our middle school students! Opportunities are available for coaching sports, sponsoring clubs, and teaching enrichment classes. The start date for teachers new to our district is July 31, 2026.Exact placement on the pay schedule will be determined by the Director of Human Resources upon contracting. As a guideline, we offer up to 18 years of previous contractual teaching experience for a placement of Step 19, per school board policy. This pay range is based on education and experience levels with a range of $44,550-$75,279 annually.
