Buyer (Manufacturing) – Valdosta, GAAbout the RoleWe are hiring a Buyer to join a rapidly growing advanced manufacturing company in Valdosta, GA. Key ResponsibilitiesPlace and manage purchase orders for materials, components, and servicesReview purchase requisitions and convert PRs into POsTrack open orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveryCommunicate with vendors regarding updates, ASNs, certifications, and expeditesEvaluate supplier quotes, lead times, and sourcing optionsSupport supplier performance tracking (OTIF, scorecards)Assist with cost updates, negotiations, and sourcing strategiesPartner with engineering, planning, and finance to support production timelinesCoordinate with warehouse/receiving to resolve discrepanciesSupport material readiness reviews for buildsMaintain procurement documentation in line with quality and audit standardsAssist with supplier communication for quality issues (DMR/RTV)?? Required Qualifications3–5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chainExperience supporting a manufacturing environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills with internal teams and external suppliersProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and WordExposure to forecasting or demand planning processes?? Preferred QualificationsExperience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, NetSuite, D365, etc.)Familiarity with PLM tools (Arena or similar)Experience contributing to SOPs or process documentationExposure to supplier performance tracking or sourcing strategyInterest in growing into supplier management or strategic procurement??
