We are currently looking for a Precision Ag Specialist. Estimated travel is up to 70%. This is a work from home role with a company car provided. The candidate must live in one of the following states: OH, MN, SD, ND, IN, KY or IA.As an Precision Ag Specialist you will work at the intersection of agriculture, technology, and crop insurance. This role spans multiple technologies, including farm management systems, GIS platforms, and process systems. This role plays a key part in supporting RCIS's Precision Ag strategy. As a Precision Ag Specialist at RCIS, you'll work closely with internal team members and external customers to educate and support the use of precision agriculture technologies for crop insurance reporting and servicing. This is a field-based position responsible for helping drive adoption of RCIS Digital Ag tools across a designated region. This roles in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, assisting agents with farm management systems, supporting system workflows, and serving as a trusted technical resource for both agents and growers.In this role you will:Have a deep understanding of Precision farming technologiesWill become a SME expert in technology solutionsAssist in the organization area of Precision Ag productsServe as internal and external technical specialist for precision agHelp implement the adoption of technologyAttend OEM TrainingsCollaborates -With Field claims and Sale. For support of sales activitiesUtilize CRM for documentation of customer interactionsProvide both customer and internal trainings both in-person and virtuallyRequired Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Agricultural or Engineering and 8 or more years of experience in the Digital Agriculture area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Digital Agriculture area AND Project Management experienceExperience with Precision Ag toolsExperience within the Agricultural industryPreferred Qualifications:Understanding of Precision Ag equipmentPrecision Ag systems, John Deere Operations Center, Climate Field View, Ag Leader TechnologiesKnowledge of GIS SystemsConsulting experienceLead meetingsExperience with process improvementKnowledge of financial services industryIn-depth knowledge of insurance business processes and processingStrong analytical skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsYour pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. The proposed Salary range for this position is $87,000.00 - $110,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
