The role ensures smooth day-to-day IT operations by resolving user issues and maintaining IT systems efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first-line technical support to end users (in-person, phone, or remote)Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issuesInstall, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and peripheralsSupport user account management (password resets, access provisioning)Assist with Windows/Mac OS and basic application supportMonitor and respond to IT support tickets in a timely mannerEscalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when requiredMaintain IT inventory and documentationEnsure systems are updated with latest patches and antivirus protectionSupport onboarding/offboarding of employees from an IT perspectiveRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field2 4 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk rolesBasic knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and common business applicationsUnderstanding of basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, LAN/Wi-Fi)Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsGood communication and customer service skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)Knowledge of Active Directory and user managementFamiliarity with remote support toolsBasic understanding of IT security practicesKey CompetenciesCustomer-focused mindsetPatience and clear communicationAttention to detailAbility to work under pressureTeam collaborationWork EnvironmentOffice-based or hybrid support environmentMay require shift-based or rotational supportInteraction with employees across all departments
