Senior Tax Analyst

ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly partner distribution schedules and coordinate file uploads to the payroll service provider Manage partner deductions, including retirement contribution withholdingsPrepare and process monthly payments for senior counsel and retirement distributionsMaintain partner paid-in capital schedules and prepare quarterly return of capital calculationsMaintain partner address records to support accurate preparation of K-1 formsReconcile intercompany general ledger accounts and ensure proper documentationProvide foreign offices with intercompany vendor invoices as neededPrepare annual state property tax filingsPrepare quarterly state sales and use tax returnsMaintain fixed asset tax depreciation schedules using FAS depreciation softwareCompile partner deduction information for tax returns and K-1 reportingProvide partner distribution schedules to auditors for interim and year-end auditsSupport the Director of Taxation with special projects and ad hoc requestsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field2–3 years of relevant professional experiencePartnership accounting experience strongly preferredAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelFamiliarity with Elite (3E), Business Intelligence tools, and/or FAS depreciation software is a plusStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentThe Phoenix Group Advisors is an equal opportunity employer.
