Specialty Care Executive (San Luis Obispo County)
The Specialty Care Executive will be based at Adventist Health Sierra Vista and will have oversight of clinic operations across the Central Coast Network and selected clinics within the Southern California Network.Job Summary:Develops and executes strategic plans for specialty care services and identifies and implements growth opportunities for specialty care services, enhancing Adventist Health's service offerings and market relevance. Collaborates with the appropriate leadership to ensure specialty care goals align with broader strategies. Fosters strong relationships with patients, families, providers, and the community to enhance patient experience.Job Requirements:Education and Work Experience:Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, business or related field: RequiredMaster's Degree: PreferredTen years' related experience in healthcare leadership, with a focus on specialty care or service line management: PreferredEssential Functions:Implements policies, procedures, and protocols to standardize care delivery across specialties. Leads initiatives to improve service line integration, communication, and coordination among specialties and other care divisions. Partners with system IT team on the adoption of innovative treatments, technologies, and telemedicine solutions to enhance specialty care delivery.Establishes and monitors quality metrics and performance benchmarks for specialty care services to ensure high standards of care. Drives initiatives to improve patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes within specialty care. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and best practice guidelines.Develops and manages budgets for specialty care services, ensuring financial sustainability and profitability. Conducts financial analysis and cost-containment efforts to optimize the use of resources. Leads efforts to enhance revenue streams, including billing optimization, coding accuracy, and reimbursement strategies.Recruits, develops, and mentors specialty care leaders, physicians, and clinical staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
