Competitive Compensation: Strong hourly rate + shift differential + overtime (DOE) 401(k) with company match Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance Generous PTO & Paid Holidays Stable Schedule: 2nd Shift (Mon–Fri, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) Growth Opportunities: Clear path to Tech III, Lead, or Supervisor roles Team-Oriented Environment: Work closely with production and maintenance teams Continuous Improvement Culture: Exposure to Lean and 5S initiatives Job Details Key Responsibilities & Duties Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production and facility equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and basic PLC/VFD issues Maintain and repair conveyors and packaging equipment Utilize CMMS to create notifications and complete work orders Assist with equipment setup, startup, shutdown, and changeovers Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, allergen, and food safety standards Maintain a clean and safe work environment (5S practices) Monitor equipment performance and support continuous improvement efforts Respond quickly to maintenance calls and prioritize tasks effectively Assist with documentation of procedures and operating parameters Support facility maintenance including building systems and grounds Participate in shift handoff communication with incoming/outgoing techs Qualifications – Needed High school diploma or GED required Experience in general industrial maintenance (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) Entry-level to intermediate troubleshooting of processing/packaging equipment Familiarity with PLC, VFD, and HMI systems (basic level) Experience using CMMS systems and work orders Understanding of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards Experience with preventive maintenance programs Exposure to Lean manufacturing and 5S principles Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and across shifts Willingness to work 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 2pm–10:30pm) Formal technical training and food industry experience preferred Interested in hearing more?
