Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This position involves assisting our chef in the kitchen with preparing and packaging ready-to-eat foods and maintaining quality and consistency standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist the chef with food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, and cooking ingredients. Package and label ready-to-eat foods for retail sale, ensuring all items meet our quality and presentation standards. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies and ingredients. Qualifications: Previous experience in food preparation preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to commissary kitchen in Waitsburg. Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and evenings. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Work Hours: This part-time position requires 20-30+ hours weekly, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
