*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the restaurant industry and hospitality, ensuring that each guest has an enjoyable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and drinks, reading expo tickets putting together to-go orders , and maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant area. *Responsibilities* * Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their dining experience. * Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system. * Assist with food preparation and ensure all items are presented according to café standards. * Sanitate work areas, utensils, and dining spaces to maintain health and safety standards. * Buss tables promptly after guests leave to ensure a clean environment for incoming customers. * Help with kitchen duties as needed, including food prep and assisting chefs during busy periods. * Handle cash transactions accurately and provide change as necessary. * Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist customers effectively. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in a café or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. * Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is a plus. * Familiarity with retail math for handling cash transactions efficiently. * Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. * Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed. * A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
