About the RoleMeeBoss is looking for a Head of Marketing to lead user growth from 0→1, with a strong focus on marketplace (two-sided) dynamics.This is not a traditional brand marketing role. We are looking for someone who can build and scale user growth across both sides of the platform, and help us find and validate product-market fit.You will work closely with the founders and product team to define:· Who our most valuable users are (on both sides)· Why they join, engage, and stay· How to scale supply and demand efficientlyWhat You’ll Do· Own User Growth (0→1 → Scale)o Define and execute the overall user growth strategyo Drive acquisition, activation, and retention across the funnelo Identify early PMF signals and double down on what works· Build & Scale Marketplace Growtho Design and optimize supply & demand growth strategieso Solve cold-start and liquidity challengeso Build scalable growth loops between both sides of the marketplace· Define ICP & User Segmentso Identify and prioritize high-value user segments on both sideso Continuously refine ICP based on data and behavioro Focus on users with the highest retention and engagement potential· Messaging, Activation & Conversiono Develop clear, testable messaging for different user segmentso Optimize onboarding and activation flowso Improve conversion and early user experience in collaboration with product· Channel Strategy & Experimentationo Identify and test high-leverage acquisition channels (e.g., community, outbound, partnerships, content, paid)o Run rapid experiments across channels, messaging, and funnelso Build a repeatable and scalable growth playbook· Data-Driven Growtho Define and track key metrics:> User acquisition & activation> Retention & cohort performance> Marketplace liquidity (match rate, engagement)o Use data to drive fast iteration and decision-making· Cross-functional Leadershipo Work closely with product and engineering on growth initiativeso Partner with founders on strategy and prioritizationo Build and lead a lean, high-impact growth teamWhat We’re Looking For· 7+ years in growth, marketing, or product growth roles· Proven experience driving 0→1 user growth in early-stage startups· Strong experience with marketplace or two-sided platforms· Deep understanding of supply-demand dynamics and growth loops· Hands-on experience with experimentation (A/B testing, funnel optimization, onboarding)· Highly data-driven with a strong bias for action· Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-moving environmentsBonus Points· Experience solving marketplace cold-start problems· Background in product-led growth (PLG)· Experience working closely with product teams on growth featuresSuccess Metrics· Growth of both sides of the marketplace· Activation and retention rates· Marketplace liquidity and engagement· Speed and effectiveness of experimentationNot a Fit If· You focus primarily on brand, PR, or top-of-funnel awareness· You have only worked in large, mature organizations· You lack hands-on experience with growth experimentationWhy This Role MattersThis role is critical to shaping how MeeBoss grows from the ground up.You will directly influence product direction, user experience, and growth strategy - owning one of the most important levers in the company.
