Position SummaryThe Western Dakota Clinic LPN provides clinical nursing services by delivering focused assessments, treatments, and patient education within an outpatient clinic environment. Working under the direction of providers and registered nurses, this role supports rooming, medication administration, care coordination, and follow-up activities to promote high-quality, patient-centered care. The Clinic LPN collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary care team to address patient needs, support chronic disease management, and ensure accurate documentation and effective communication across the continuum of care. Through teamwork, attention to detail, and consistent clinical practice, this position supports safe, efficient clinic operations and positive patient experiences at the Western Dakota Clinic.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform focused nursing assessments, administer medications and immunizations, and carry out provider ordered treatments in the clinic setting.Room patients and obtain histories, vital signs, and other clinical data; document accurately in the electronic health record.Provide patient and family education related to medications, disease processes, procedures, and follow up care.Assist with coordination of care, including scheduling, referrals, and communication with external providers or services.Support clinic workflows by helping manage phone calls, inbox messages, and triage tasks within scope of practice.Participate in quality and safety initiatives, infection prevention practices, and ongoing clinical competency development.
