We offer competitive pay and benefits, and well-being programs to support you and your family.To Learn More Visit: http://www.geosyntec.com/careers/.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesFieldwork such as soil, surface water and groundwater sampling, drilling and contractor oversight, and remediation treatment system operation and maintenance;Chemical data and contaminant fate & transport evaluation;Well installation, aquifer testing, and groundwater monitoring;Groundwater and soil remedy evaluation, cost estimation, design calculations, and implementation;Environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance services, and permitting;Data analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures; andPreparation of technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals.Fieldwork: Up to 90%Overnight travel: Up to 30%Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.Education and LicensureBachelor's degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering or a related degree field. (required)Engineer-in-Training (EIT) License and Certification following a passing grade on the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering exam (preferred)Advanced degree in environmental engineering. (preferred)Skills, Experience and QualificationsPrior research experience in contaminated media or remediation technology. (preferred)Prior internship experience in environmental consulting. (preferred)Experience with ArcView, Microsoft Access, Modflow, and/or EVS. (preferred)Regular field work and overnight travel. (required)Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing. (required)Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel.
