DevOps Security EngineerInfoSec Engineering support Mitigation and Remediation of security vulnerabilities Experience with Java, AWS and how to mitigate/remediate those security vulnerabilities Could look at a server migration schedule, heat maps for application servers, monitoring scans There could be an auto patch on, they look at the Tableau dashboard that shows a vulnerability popped up and they have to investigate and engineer a solution From the Security Dashboard (they use Tableau but there are others) - "what do you see on that dashboard?" "What is a static scan vulnerability?" If that pops up, what would you do first? Needs to find someone who can taking initiative and showing through process - they have to engineer solutions so asking them what would they do first, if that doesn't work, what would you do next? Need to be able to walk through the full thought process. Development experience in Linux-based and cloud-based distributed systems Familiarity with AIX systems Hands on experience on AWS is desirable Proficient with C, Java Springboot, Python, and scripting languages Experience with docker and Kubernetes Experience with different Linux distributions like SUSE, CentOS, Amazon Linux, and respective packages Ability to work with version control systems, such as GIT (branching, merging, etc)
