Senior Java Spring Boot DeveloperLocations: Plano, TX / Indianapolis / Boston / Seattle / Portsmouth, NHExperience: 10 to 15 yearsSkillset: Java/J2EE, Spring/Springboot, Microservices, React, Angular, Jenkins/Bamboo/Github Actions, knowledge in DB2 and AWS/AzureJob Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Java Spring Boot Developer who is a self-starter with strong technical depth and a proactive mindset. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building modern, scalable applications and will actively seek opportunities to grow, contribute, and lead in a collaborative, virtual environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain robust backend solutions using Java/J2EE and Spring BootBuild and integrate RESTful services and APIsCollaborate with frontend teams using Angular and/or ReactEnsure high-quality code through unit, integration, and contract testingParticipate actively in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisionsContribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesProactively identify improvement opportunities and take ownership beyond assigned tasksSupport team members and deliverables with a "pull" mindset rather than waiting for directionCommunicate effectively in a virtual environment and participate or lead discussions when requiredRequired SkillsStrong experience in Java/J2EEHands-on expertise with Spring Framework and Spring BootExperience with Git and version control best practicesWorking knowledge of DB2 (or similar RDBMS)Strong experience in testing frameworks (unit, integration, contract testing)Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelinesExperience with frontend technologies: Angular and/or ReactExcellent communication and collaboration skillsDemonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologiesGood to Have.NET experience (optional)Experience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsPrior experience mentoring or guiding team membersBehavioral ExpectationsSelf-starter with exceptional initiativeWilling to stretch beyond regular responsibilities to build skill breadth and depthProactive in asking questions, offering recommendations, and improving solutionsComfortable working and leading in a distributed/virtual team setupDiverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
