The candidate will join a team that is the central point of contact for supporting technical aspects of the platform. The candidate will play a vital role in diagnosing and facilitating production issues as well as assisting all other teams in QA, development and client services. This role will give the candidate a well-rounded understanding of the retail fixed income market place and all of the technical aspects of the platform.Tradeweb Technology jobs are fully remote. The Tradeweb Technology hub is located in our Jersey City office which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts. There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off-sites.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day application level support for production incidentsWork closely with business and technology teams to analyze and resolve issues on the platformProvide a consistently high-level of service to all customers, internal and externalDevelop new automation application tools and maintain existing automation toolsQualificationsBachelor?s Degree completed or relative work experience required1+ years of experience in application/production support or a production engineering roleUnderstanding of relational databases, preferably Oracle 19Knowledge of object-oriented programming, preferably Java and PerlTechnical knowledge of Unix and Windows operating systemsDemonstrated ability in scripting (python and bash) as well as Unix command toolsUnderstanding of Apache Tomcat, Tomee and HTTP servers desiredStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsTeam player and detail orientedAbility to work in a fast-paced, often pressurized environmentMust be willing to work some evenings or weekends for production code deployments and other support needsNice To Have SkillsContinuous build and integration systems understanding (e.g. Bamboo, Gitlab CI/CD)Source control platformsConfiguration management tool like AnsibleAdditional InformationTradeweb is committed to providing valuable and competitive benefits.
