Kelly Services is hiring for a Quality Control Inspector at a climate-controlled manufacturing facility in Fort Mill, SC.Pay Rate: $24.00–$27.00/hr. depending on experienceShift: Monday–Friday, 7am–3:30pmPosition Summary:The Quality Control Inspector ensures parts and materials meet expectations, processes QC Receiving/In-process inspections, and champions all quality tasks. This role interacts with suppliers, customers, auditors, and internal teams, escalating key issues to management.***EXPERIENCE READING BLUEPRINTS AND WORKING WITH CALIPERS IS PREFERRED***Essential Job Functions:Master blueprint reading & interpretationSelect & use measurement gauges for inspectionsMaintain & retrieve quality documentsCreate and track manufacturing/distribution PPAP submissionsProvide inspection feedback to sales and during contract reviewsInspect incoming tooling, parts, and materialsRecord in-process QC inspection resultsLead processing of non-conforming material and corrective actionsUpdate gauge calibration, machine validation, and quality logsSupport process improvement, efficiency, and clear communication of quality alertsMaintain knowledge of materials, processes, ERP (Infor CSI), and quality tools (Excel, Adobe, Inspection Xpert)Foster positive relations with employees, suppliers, and customersKnowledge & Skills:Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Microsoft Office)Experience with inspection tools, gauges, blueprint readingFamiliarity with quality systems (ISO, AS, IATF, etc.)Ability to handle ERP tracking and reportsStrong interpersonal communicationRequirements:Minimum 1 year in related field preferredAble to lift 30 lbs., pass visual acuity examPhysical ability for stooping, crouching, walking, etc.Comfortable working around fumes, dust, odors occasionallyReady to bring your attention to detail and quality mindset to the team?
