Receiver and Material Handler

We strive to recruit the best talent in the industry and give employees opportunities for continuing education and training to help them advance in their careers.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesDrive forklift and maintain necessary certificationRoute or deliver materials to correct storage or manufacturing locationsPerform shipping/receiving function with regards to material handling; utilize loading dock equipment to ensure a safe loading and unloading process is completedCheck goods received to purchase orders or receiving slips, maintain records, and prepare receiving reportsCheck quantity, type, size, part numbers, dimensions, etc. to properly identify materialsResponsible for labeling, storing, and inventorying itemsProcess warranty items such as entering Returned Goods Authorizations intodatabaseWork with Purchasing and Inventory Control to facilitate accurate inventory levels andnecessary adjustmentsOperate cranes and hoistsComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.Minimum QualificationsNo minimum education required2+ years shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environmentProficiency in loading all trailers, flat beds, and vansThe pay range for this position is $20.91 - $32.52/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
