Fire Alarm Technician

Topa Group is partnered with a leading Fire Alarm Integrator who is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Alarm Technician to join our growing life-safety team. This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, understands code compliance, and wants to grow with a company committed to safety and professionalism.You will be responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, servicing, and troubleshooting fire alarm systems across commercial and industrial environments.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, program, test, inspect, and service fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA, local, and state codesTroubleshoot system issues including panels, initiating devices, notification appliances, and wiringPerform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and annual testingAccurately document service reports, deficiencies, and corrective actionsCommunicate clearly with customers, project managers, and AHJsMaintain tools, test equipment, and company vehicle (if provided)Follow all safety policies and procedures on job sitesRequired Qualifications2+ years of hands-on experience as a Fire Alarm Technician (or equivalent)Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems (Notifier, Silent Knight, Fire-Lite, Simplex, EST, etc.)Understanding of NFPA 72 and local fire codesAbility to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagramsValid driver’s license and clean driving recordStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsNICET Level I–III (or working toward certification)Experience with inspections and service workLow-voltage or electrical backgroundState fire alarm license (where applicable)What We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceOvertime opportunitiesCompany vehicle and tools (if applicable)Training, certification support, and career advancementHealth benefits, PTO, and paid holidaysA stable company with a strong reputation in life safetyTopa Group is partnered with a leading Fire Alarm Integrator who is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Alarm Technician to join our growing life-safety team.
