We build assortments that are brand led, consumer right and appropriately segmented to win in the NAM marketplace.Purpose & Overall Relevance for the OrganisationLead and support the orchestration of the merchandising process and activation plans, driving execution and securing a holistic approach aligned with global and local guidelines. Ensure the achievement of market KPIs are met and the global and local plans are brought to life in a premium way across channels and strategic accounts. Ensure implementation is done in close alignment with BUs, Brand Comms, Trade Marketing and Commercial teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead teams responsible for creating alliance account assortment plansDevelop seasonal account plans, considering segmentation, optimizing holistic brand presentation and consumer/account profilesPlan, own and execute key milestones working cross-functionally with Category Merchandising, Sales partners (global and local)Build the vision for the alliance account and drive aligned strategic plans to hit seasonal and annual financial KPI’sLead the collaboration with the KA horizontal teams to create Option Plans that reflect particular KA needs Foster alignment with Range Architecture teams to assure that Option Plans needs are reflected based on channel/tier-segment needs.Envision strategies that identify further streamlining of the national mall range based on horizontal reviews at key milestonesEnhance the Market Range through Assortment Planning that reflects localization and differentiation in market range where needed (seasonality, account differentiation)Lead and secure an Assortment Planning strategy that is applied throughout the Market consistently across all channels, including Brand Collection and key stories, and balancing global assortment packages and specific market needs.Foster alignment with Range Architecture teams to assure that Option Plans needs are reflected based on channel/tier-segment needs.People ManagementTo staff most suitable persons in direct report positionsTo set personal objectives, targets, guidelines and assess all reportsTo develop the functional and social skills of direct reports on and off the jobTo manage all reports as an integrated team by setting team objectives, targets and guidelinesTo ensure smooth cooperation of all direct reports as one team, internally and externally Key RelationshipsMerchandising/Category teamsSales teamsMerch Planning, SCM, Finance/ Demand Planning, Business DevelopmentCoE Retail, Wholesale and eCommerceKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesStrong knowledge and understanding assortment planning processes for a multi-channel (DTC, WHS, e-com) global brand, acquired through advanced training, studies, and relevant working experience.Extensive knowledge of merchandising best business practices, through leadership roles within a global multi-channel organisation.
